In accordance with government guidance and Public Health England advice on operating during the COVID pandemic, the following measures will help to ensure we can all remain as safe as possible whilst carrying out your treatments.
What Oxfordshire Skin Clinic will do:
· Allow adequate time between appointments to avoid contact between clients
· Keep the treatment room well ventilated (windows) and use a medically certified air sanitiser unit that kills 99.9% of bacteria and viruses, including Coronavirus
· Ensure that between each client the room is fully aired and cleaned down – along with the usual high-standard of sanitising and disinfecting procedures of all equipment, wiping down of any touch-points including furniture, door handles, etc.
· Wear PPE including FFP2 mask, visor, and disposable gloves
· Keep paperwork to a minimum by requesting any consultation and consent forms are completed electronically by email, or printed and completed at home by the client and brought in to the appointment
· If I, or anyone I have been in contact with becomes ill with any COVID symptoms I will have to cancel your appointment – which could be at short notice
What you should do:
Please DO NOT ATTEND your appointment if:
· You are feeling unwell in any way – even if you think it may just be a cold
· You have been suffering from a cough, shortness of breath, fever or change to your sense of taste or smell
· You have been in contact with anyone displaying the above symptoms within the last 7 days
· You are living with anyone sick or quarantined
Please cancel your appointment with as much notice as possible if any of the above apply
When you arrive for your appointment:
· Please make sure you have been to the toilet before you arrive for your appointment. There will be no toilet facilities available to minimise the risk of cross-infection
· You will be asked to sanitise your hands upon arrival and before leaving the clinic
· Your temperature will be taken upon arrival. If your temperature is above 37.5 C you will be asked to reschedule your appointment
· Please come alone and bring minimal personal possessions with you
· Unfortunately, we cannot offer you anything to drink for hygiene reasons – it may be a good idea to bring a bottle of water with you for after your treatment
· Please arrive at the time of your appointment to avoid cross-over with other clients. If you are early, please wait in your car on the driveway
Hopefully, these measures will help us all to stay safe. These guidelines are based on an agreement of mutual trust, in order to keep not just ourselves, but others safe, too. By attending your appointment on the day you are agreeing to adhere to the above guidelines.
Thank you
